If this kid is so good WHY??

If calumpa is so good and dedicated to boxing how come i dont see him fighting on the dorcan show??
And also heard he wont be entering the junior novices
So how can he be any good or dedicated if when he has a chance to prove it he bottles it and doesnt enter the comps.
Sounds to me like he is just living on the hype when it comes to standing up to be counted he runs away.
I feel sorry for paddy who must have seen something in this kid to put time and effort into getting his name out there only for him to run scared when he is required to perform and prove he is worthy of the hype.

i heard hes away for those events, maybe hes dedicated but still wants to have some time away, a break he is only 14 isnt he ?
i know of him round swindon i hear he coaches aswell, how many 14 year olds do you know thats in the gym everyday coaching and training ?

Calumpa is away for the dorcan event thats why he is not boxing on the show.
As for not being dedicated he was going to give up a family holiday abroad to fight in the novices and the only reason he is not fighting in them is because they were going to be scrapped by the aba next season he held out for as long as he could before confirming his holiday booking just in case the aba decided to run the tournament.Unfortunatly for him the aba changed there mind to late for him but there will be other tournaments for him he is only 14 and its not time for him to give up everything for boxing he needs to enjoy life otherwise how can he enjoy his sport.

but if he loves boxing that much then surely he'd not go,
he must be absoulutley gutted, when do you think he will enter his first championship.

He will fight in a tournament next season for sure.
If he misses the novices this year then he theres tournaments in january he could enter like cyp,s or school boys.

ill have to come down the boxing academy on maxwell street and see for myself,
but yes he'll need expierence from tornoments
are you gunna try go for the olympics or something like the comonwealths darren ?

there is no way he'd get into anything like that hes not as good as people are saying!
the only expierecnce he will get is an ass wooping every time he fights!

Thats not down to me if he was going to make the olympics or commonwealths it would be down to the selection commity of each event to decide the only bearing on that myself or calum can have is for him to be noticed by them.
The only way for that to happen is for him to beat everyone in his class and even then you may not get picked if your face dont fit.
