Marcel Douglas

Marcel has all the attributes to become a top amature and if and when he decides to turn pro hes got all the ingredients to go all the way in the pro ranks.
Keep an eye out for Marcel he is one to watch for the future

As i have posted before great to see that you guys are promoting your young fighters
This guy has had one fight so far according to what i have read and he has got hes own page on here to get people talking about him no doubt we will hear a lot more about him too.

dannybox have you ever been down the gym? Im guessing not otherwise all your posts would'nt be so negative to our lads you just have'nt felt the love of the gym
Its great that you post on our site positives and negatives are what makes the forum work everyone has an opinon on everything so please continue to do so.
You may feel we are blowing smoke up our fighters behinds but we do have a high opinion of them all and feel that a bit of attention good and bad will hold them in good stead for what ever lies before them in life.

Marcel will fight again this season as soon as we can get him matched.

As for him being good enough to win Yes he was good enough but first fight nerves took over and he didnt fight his fight its a learning curve.
I dont know if you have ever had a bout yourself ???
But the nerves you have on your first few fights can be immense.I have known lads that had all the tools to be great would out class everyone in the gym when sparring where they were comfortable but could not handle the pressure when it came to fighting in contests and never fought in competion because of it.
Dont get me wrong i dont think Marcel will have this problem at all and he will learn to control his nerves and use them to his advantage.
